Mrs. Natalie Georgitsis is in her first year at St. Philip. She grew up in Bloomingdale and attended and taught at St. Walter Parish in Roselle. Mrs. Georgitsis went to Northern Illinois University to receive her teaching degree with an emphasis in Mathematics and started teaching in 1995. She moved to the Elgin area in 1998 when she got married. Beginning in 2000 she stayed home to raise her first child. She now has two children: a freshman in high school and a seventh grader. In 2007 Mrs. Goergitsis started teaching preschool for 6 years. She has also taught as a substitute teacher for junior high and high school. During the time that she was away from teaching she taught a junior high jump start summer math program and has continued to tutor and work with kids in the math area for the past 10 years. Junior high is Mrs. Georgitsis' absolute favorite age group and she feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with each and everyone here at St. Philip.
