St. Philip the Apostle Parish's 2024 Vacation Bible School was held during the week of June 10 to 12. The theme of this year’s Vacation Bible School was SCUBA - Diving into Friendship with God! Sixty-nine children and countless volunteers made this year’s VBS one to remember! The gym, hallways and classrooms were transformed by our creative volunteers into "FIN-tastic" ocean scenes. The children's adventures included prayer, games, crafts, dramatic re-enactments, snacks, songs, dancing, and an inflatable obstacle course.
A special thank you to Fran Amadeo for coordinating Vacation Bible School and pouring her one-of-a-kind dedication, vision, and heart into this ministry! A huge thank you to the whole Amadeo family for diving in and making this experience happen so wonderfully. Thank you to each and every super-volunteer who range from 4th grade to adults of all ages. You made waves, creating an unforgettable underwater adventure for our VBS participants who learned how much God is a friend to them and loves them always. Thanks, everyone! "Thanks, God!" |
