2023/2024 Religious Education Important Dates

We are so excited to welcome everyone for the 2023/2024 Religious Education Program at St. Philip the Apostle Parish. 

If you have not yet registered, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. You can find registration information here. 

A full calendar will be posted on the website and sent out by email by August 25th. A printed copy will also be handed out at the Family Orientation as well.

In the meantime, here are some important dates to help with planning:

• Family Orientation Night will be on September 20th from 7-8 p.m.
• Full days of regular classes begin September 27th.
  • Kindergarten through 5th grade classes meet Wednesdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • 6th, 7th, & 8th grade classes meet Wednesdays from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
• Classes are every Wednesday except for November 22 which is off for Thanksgiving.
• December 13th is the last week of the fall semester and we will all meet on that day from 5-7 p.m. for the Christmas Prayer, Concert, and Reception.
• The first day of classes in the "spring" semester will be January 10th and classes will meet at their normal times.
• For students in 2nd grade and preparing for First Reconciliation,
  • November 15th is the First Reconciliation Parent & Family Meeting from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
  • First Reconciliation will be on December 2nd at 9:00 a.m.
• For students in 8th grade, there are also GIFT Nights (Gathered in Faith Together) for parents, guardians, and students in preparation for Confirmation. Wednesdays October 4th, November 8th, and December 6th from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. are on the calendar as the fall semester GIFT nights. ​​
