A Note of Thanks From Fr. Binu
Dear Parishioners,
Thank you all for being with me last Sunday personally or spiritually at the time of my official installation as the pastor at St. Philip the Apostle parish.
I could experience more personally your prayers, your support and your love towards me. It was very reassuring moments for me personally. It is truly humbling to realize that you have accepted me as I am. I am well aware I still have a long way to be the pastor St. Philip parish deserve. But moments such as these certainly remind me that with such support and cooperation from you, I need not be too concerned about my limitations. Your love and support keep me focused.
A special thanks to all of you working behind the scene to make this day a memorable one for me. Deacon Phil as the Liturgical Coordinator worked out all the logistics of it. And everyone involved, you did your part as best you can. Thanks for your hard work and dedication! Deacon Sean and the hospitality team along with members of parent association and other volunteers toiled hand in hand for the hospitality part of the event!
Special thanks to the Grand Knight Mike Bruntz and members of Knights of Columbus for the guard of honor accorded to our dean Fr. Tom Paul and to me!
Special thanks to Dave Calabrese for videotaping the entire liturgical celebration for my folks back in India to watch.
Thanks also to the Pastoral Council Members, all staff of St. Philip parish and all the staff and students of St. Philip the Apostle School for your support and love.
Many of you also sent me cards with lovely notes of encouragement and gifts that entailed your love and best wishes! Thanks a million, dear friends!
We march together forward on our faith journey!
