New Pastor Appointment at St. Philip the Apostle Parish

Bishop Hicks has accepted the Priest Personnel Board’s recommendation and is assigning Fr. Binu Varghese as pastor of St. Philip the Apostle Parish.
He served here for a short time assisting Fr. Rogers.
Fr. Varghese is very happy to return to serve the community of St. Philip’s, and you will find him a refreshingly spiritual pastor. He will be at the parish assisting with Christmas Masses and then will start as pastor officially on January 1, 2023.  Bishop Hicks would like to thank Fr. John Hornicak, pastor of Holy Ghost Parish in Wood Dale, and Fr. Tomy Chellakandathil for assisting St. Philip the Apostle Parish through this time of transition.
